Massage Therapy
A course of Yoga Therapy can strengthen your connection to your own body so you can experience and maintain a more relaxed state in between your massage appointments, as well as potentially make your time on the table even more effective.
Acupuncture
Yoga Therapy works alongside your current acupuncture treatments by enhancing the positive flow of energy as well as helping the body return to optimal functioning.
Physical Therapy
Yoga Therapy can help support your current protocol through optimizing and calming your breathing patterns, balancing your mental state, and helping you find an embodied understanding of relaxation vs tension -- all of which contribute to pain relief, healing, and getting back to your life.
Mental Health Therapies
Research supports what Yoga has always known -- that the body has inherent wisdom, and moving the body has a profound and direct effect on our emotions and thoughts. Yoga Therapy can support your process with embodied practices and breath work to shine a light on patterns that no longer serve you.
Herbalism
You're already taking in some of the best medicine that Nature has to offer; Yoga Therapy can reinforce your connection to the Natural world in many additional ways, rounding out and deepening your healing experience.
Are YOU a practitioner?
You already know the importance of self-care in your field; Yoga Therapy offers extra support and tools that allow you to bring your best re-sourced self to each and every client and appointment.
Let's set some expectations: quality work that provides lasting transformational effects takes time and effort; there are no shortcuts. As much as we humans love certainty, formulas, and a quick fix, this is not the Yoga Therapy way. Each individual, each situation, each session, and each home practice is utterly unique and requires care that comes from a deep understanding, and that can only come with time.
However! Please bear in mind that your personal time commitment to our work might mean only 10 minutes a day in the beginning! We start low and go slow and work with your current life. It’s the consistency that counts. And remember – we’re in this together! If you’re sincerely ready to commit your time and effort to this work, then let’s begin.
If the longer-form work of Yoga Therapy isn't what you're looking for right now, I will soon offer lots of other transformational ways of working together that are shorter and simpler and address different needs – but are absolutely still effective! These will include:
Yoga 101 : for those who want to get started with a Yoga practice but aren't sure where to start, and a studio class just feels too intimidating
Home Practice Setup : for those who have been practicing in studios or online for a while and want to have their own personal practice, but aren't sure what poses or props to include or how to go about it
Meditation Discovery : for those who want to start a meditation practice but would like a little guidance
Guided Rest Sessions : for anyone who just needs to lie down, rest, and let someone else take care of them. Ideal for caregivers. Like a massage for your psyche (and a great option for deep relaxation when massage therapy is not possible for whatever reason)
